Position: Social Media Marketing Specialist
Work Location: Chennai (Guindy)
The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a challenging, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment. You’ll own online branding strategy planning and execution, work directly with Business Heads and collaborate with multiple streams / functions.
- Conceive, create and execute online branding and innovative social media marketing content through Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, online discussion forums and other social media platforms.
- Planning and execution of paid campaigns across different social media platforms.
- Curating content for social media campaigns, building conversations around the content and ensuring constant engagement with the target communities.
- Increasing Social Media presence across all platforms and identify the upcoming digital hangouts.
- Managing incoming media requests, building relationships with online influencers, identifying and engaging brand evangelist and advocates.
- Performing content maintenance and postings on Facebook, Twitter and engaging customers.
- Reputation management of our brand on social media platforms.
Desired candidate profile:
- Any degree (preferably in Marketing, PR, Communications or Journalism)
- Min 2+ years experience in a managing multiple verticals in social media platforms
- Solid understanding of social media strategy, especially for LinkedIn and Facebook
- Strong copywriting skills and acute attention to detail
- Knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Outstanding writing and communication skills
- You will be able to run and execute on the marketing strategies in a hands-on capacity
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team and to integrate into production pipelines and hierarchies.
